TEXDRA's primary purpose is advocating for the business interests of Texas freelance Certified Shorthand Reporters and Texas Certified Reporting Firms.  One incontrovertible truth when it comes to reversing the anti-business environment that's been created for Texas freelance reporters is that it costs money to undo the damage.  While we at TEXDRA always appreciate your membership dollars, if you believe your business will benefit from our efforts, please consider an additional donation to our war chest so we can continue to fight for you!

TEXDRA is a tax-exempt 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization.  Dues, contributions or gifts to TEXDRA are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.  However, they may be deductible under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code; e.g., as ordinary and necessary business expenses.  ​
