Lucile Wyatt, CSR
President
Lucile entered the profession in 1975 as an official court reporter, finding the work both challenging and gratifying. After opening her firm in 1983, she parlayed her love for reading, travel, and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge into a rewarding freelance career. Because court reporting enabled a single mom to provide a far better life for her family, Lucile was driven to pay it forward. After forty-eight years of reporting and almost four decades of service to local, state, and national reporting associations, including terms as president of both Texas Court Reporters Association and StenoCAT Users Network, Lucile is deeply honored to serve as TEXDRA’s fifth President.

Rene White, CSR, RPR, CRR
Vice President/President Elect
René has worked as a freelance reporter since 1986 and also assumed the role of a firm owner. She dedicated her time to HCRA, serving on the board in the late '90s, ultimately becoming President. Additionally, Rene ​is a Certified Independent Training Agent for Stenograph's Case CATalyst software since 2007. Rene was Treasurer of TEXDRA from 2016 through August 2023.

David Ross, CSR
Past President
​David's journey began with military discharge in 1971, leading him to enroll at McMahon College of Court Reporting. His career commenced in 1973, spanning New Orleans and Miami's criminal courts for three years. Returning to Houston in 1975, he founded Ross Reporting Services in 1980, where he remained until retiring in 2014. As a founding member of TEXDRA, he's been involved since its inception. ​

Yvette Perrodin, CSR
Secretary
Yvette, with over 20 years of experience as a freelance reporter, owns Liberty Litigation Support in Houston, Texas. She balances her profession with a passion for ranch life, home décor, and travel. Yvette is dedicated to supporting her fellow reporters, educating aspiring students, and guiding current students toward success.

Trisha Myler, CSR, RPR, RMR, CRR
Director

Trisha, a freelance reporter with 24 years of experience in both Houston and Dallas, resumed her Texas CSR certification after a 10-year hiatus in South Dakota, passing with distinction. Committed to professional growth, she earned her RPR, CRR, and RMR certifications. Trisha recognizes the vital role of court reporting in the legal profession and strives to maintain certified court reporters as the gold standard in the industry.

Christy Fagan, CSR, CRR, RMR
Director
Since 1992, Christy has built a successful career as a freelance reporter, and in 2004, she took her expertise to the next level by founding her own firm. Residing in Mansfield with her family, Christy is deeply passionate about the court reporting industry. She firmly believes in the importance of uniting against the rise of digital recorders and AI, advocating for the continued value of human expertise in the field.

Christy Cortopassi, CSR
Director
Christy embarked on her career as a freelance reporter in 1995 and expanded her expertise to include providing real-time services in 2016. She has a rich history of mentoring students, delivering presentations at seminars, and contributing her time to various committees. Beyond her commitment to court reporting, Christy is deeply dedicated to volunteering for several animal rescue groups. Her passions extend to traveling, enjoying hikes with her dog, and cherishing moments with family and friends. ​

Jennifer Murphy, CSR, CVR
Director
​Jennifer serves as the Official Reporter for the 414th Judicial District Court of McLennan County in Waco, TX, and occasionally conducts depositions. Court Reporting is her second career, following nearly 20 years in education as a teacher and school librarian. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters in Library Science, graduating from Arlington Career Institute in 2021. Jennifer actively contributes to TEXDRA, participating in the Membership and CE Committees. Her passion lies in advocating for the court reporting field, recruiting potential future reporters, and presenting at career days to guide students and prospects.

Lisa Flowers-Demoe, CSR, RPR
Director
Lisa, a Texas Certified Shorthand Reporter for 27 years, launched her career after graduating from Professional Court Reporting School in Richardson in 1995. She commenced her journey by working for a freelance firm in Dallas. In 2003, Lisa established her own reporting firm, Hundt Reporting, where she actively worked as a reporting professional until 2013. Throughout her extensive career, Lisa has tackled a wide range of reporting assignments, spanning from straightforward car accident cases to highly intricate intellectual property litigation. She excels in providing real-time services for various proceedings. Lisa's expertise extends to offering closed captioning and CART services. Notably, she served as the on-site court reporter for President George W. Bush's Presidential Library Dedication, where her transcripts were promptly delivered to the media and are allegedly archived in the United States National Archives. Outside of her reporting responsibilities, Lisa engages in billiards as a team player, though she certainly maintains her primary profession. Moreover, she dedicates her time to volunteering as a CASA volunteer for the past 2 years and extends numerous hours serving veterans in her community. Lisa's interests also encompass travel and scuba diving with her husband.
